Criccieth Castle

Portmeirion is a private village resort and gardens on the coast of Snowdonia in Wales open all year round. It is an Italian-inspired village, with unconventional building designs which are finished with unique and individual colours. It has also recently been named one of Britains most beautiful seaside villages in the UK, deeming it a must-visit when staying at Garreg Goch Caravan Park. Furthermore, this fascinating experience is a short 10 minute car journey from the park.

Ffestiniog Railway

The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways stretch for 40 miles through the glorious Snowdonia National Park, allowing you to experience the magnificent scenery in comfort whilst savouring the romance of gleaming steam engines and carriages. Blaenau Ffestiniog is famous as being the town that roofed the world and was once the slate capital of Wales. Just over an hour from Porthmadog, it features some of the best adventure attractions anywhere in the UK.

Zip World Snowdonia

Prepare for a truly unique and exhilarating experience; the fastest zip line in the world. Soar over Penrhyn Quarry where you could travel at speeds of over 100mph while you take in the breathtaking views and feel the freedom of flight. There is also Restaurant, cafe and bar facilities available at the Blondin Restaurant. Also on a seperate site there is an underground trampoline park called bounce below. These two activities provide great entertainment for children and adults alike. 

Purple Moose Brewery Tours

The Purple Moose Brewery is a '40-Barrel' micro-brewery based in the historic harbour town of Porthmadog, North Wales, close to the mountains of Snowdonia. The brewery holds regular tours which include tasting, a free pint and access to its shop. This experience is also very convenient, as it takes 5 minutes to drive there from Garreg Goch Caravan Park.
